Agriculture
Naturally fertile volcanic and peat soils which support a prosperous agricultural economy. Major Crops: Irish potatoes, coffee, tea, vegetables (carrots, cabbages, corn flower, beetroot, onions, and tomatoes), fruits (passion fruits, apples, pineapples, and pears), pyrethrum, apiary, mushroom, diary and agro forestry. Livestock; mainly cattle.
