Kabale district records 289 Covid-19 cases in three days.Tobias Habasa

Kabale district has registered 289 Covid-19 cases in the last three days, bringing the number of the active cases in the district to 433.
Records from the office of the district Health officer-DHO, indicate that the district recorded 67,115 and 107 cases on Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th and Friday 31st December 2021 respectively.
The Acting Kabale District Health officer, Alfred Besigensi, says that the number of active cases in hospitals is at 45, while those under the home based care system stands at 388. The number of those on oxygen therapy is 3 while one case is in critical condition.
The number of cumulative cases registered in the district since March 2020, stands at 3,413, while cumulative deaths stand 129.
The ministry of health today confirmed 1,867 new cases from tests done on 30th December 2021, bringing cumulative confirmed cases in the country to 142,604. Cumulative deaths in the country stand at 3,297.
