Kabale district council approves a supplementary for women and youth councils.

Kabale District Council on Wednesday approved a supplementary budget worth 18,013,397 million Shillings for supporting women’s council institution and joint program of Youth Livelihood and Women Entrepreneur for the financial year 2022/2023.
The motion to approve the supplementary budget was tabled by the secretary for Finance, administration works and technical services, Bridget Asinga Tumwesigye before the district council that was presided over by the district speaker, Flavia Nyinakiiza Kanagizi.
Asiinga observed that the funds were secured from the ministry of Gender, Labour and social development through the ministry of finance, planning and economic development, to help these special interest groups to execute their mandate.
