Kabale District hosts Mbarara district leaders on a benchmarking trip.

Kabale district local government today hosted a delegation of leaders from Mbarara District local Government, who were on a one-day benchmarking trip on strategic planning and development.
The delegation, who included, political leaders who included the District executive, the Resident District commissioner, District internal Security officer-DIso and technical staffs among others, were received by the Kabale district vice chairperson, Miria Tugume Akankwasa and the district speaker, Flavia Nyinakiiza Kanagizi.
The visiting leaders, first held a meeting with Kabale district leaders at the district council hall, before they proceeded to visit several tourism attractions like Lake Bunyonyi.
The Mbarara district vice chairperson, Juliet Nabakooza, who led the vising delegation, said that their visit was aimed at benchmarking on several development agendas like local revenue enhancement and the tourism sector among others.
The Kabale district Vice chairperson, Miria Tugume Akankwasa, commended the Mbarara district local government for choosing to benchmark in Kabale district, adding that their visitors were taken through major sectors like agriculture, tourism, industry, health and education among others.
