The Kitumba Sub-county LC3 Chairperson, David Muhereza Kato, expressed his enthusiasm for the project. He noted that the sub-county’s current office space, located in the Southern Division of Kabale Municipality, was hampering their operations and realization of equitable service delivery because of its location. He added that the new site was chosen after government land in the area became increasingly vulnerable to land grabbers.
