Kabale Leaders vow to fight against Shoddy work.

Kabale   The Kabale District LCV Chairperson, Nelson Nshangabasheija, has vowed to intensify monitoring and supervision of government projects so as to reduce on cases of shoddy work in the district. Nshangasheija made the vow on Wednesday, while speaking at the launch of the construction works for a twin staff house at Kitooma Health Centre III in Rubaya sub county of Kabale District. Kabale District leaders launch the construction of a new District Rukiiko hall.

Kabale registers an increase in Malaria cases.

By Alex Byakatonda   Communications officer-Kabale 18.2. 2023.   Kabale district has registered an increase in malaria cases in the last six weeks according to the district Health Educator, Alfred Besigensi.   Speaking during the district malaria taskforce meeting held in the district boardroom on Friday, Besigensi noted that 660 cases of malaria recorded in the last six weeks.   He says that the cases were recorded from January 2023 to date, with Southern division alone recording 131 cases, followed by Central division with 119 malaria cases.
